Windsor Heights, Iowa is located in the heart of the Des Moines Metro Area contiguous to the western boundary of Des Moines. A community of 4,800 people, the Windsor Heights supports a wide array of businesses from one-person shops to large organizations. Many families choose to live in Windsor Heights because of its small-town feel and close proximity to big town happenings. The southern boundary of Windsor Heights is near Interstate 235, the Des Moines Freeway, and Windsor Heights residents can easily use the 73rd Street interchange for Interstate access.
